The
Challenge
We attributed the success of notebook sales in Taiwan lots to
the channels. Our client was interesting in analyzing the successful
notebook vendors' channels, specifically the key successful factors,
dealers' behaviors, product & brand image, operation & strategies,
and TechInsight opinions.
The
Solution
We conducted 3 sets of in-depth interviews to each notebook
vendor: 5 value added reseller (VAR), 5 3C resellers, and 10 notebook
dealers. Investigated their sales volume, company policy, end-user
behaviors, satisfactions to vendor, industry views, voice and
recommendations. We made a lot of comparisons tables and analysis,
and came out our opinions and recommendations.
The Result
We delivered the market overview, sales analysis,
product positioning, vendor ratings, end-user behaviors, and lots
of analysis to help our client understand the thoughts of competitors'
channels, beyond their own channels. Since channels are most close
to buyers, they provided precious industry view and opinions for
our clients to rethink about their channel loyalty and strategies.
